class=\"ryNqvb\">Large-format metal components can be produced quickly, which can then be finished using CNC milling.<\/span><\/span> <span class=\"jCAhz ChMk0b\"><span class=\"ryNqvb\">The components can usually be produced in a very short time &#8211; this makes DED a very interesting option, especially for small series and prototype construction.<\/span><\/span> <span class=\"jCAhz ChMk0b\"><span class=\"ryNqvb\">Compared to the conventional process of milling a component out of a solid block, tool wear, processing time and material loss are much lower with the DED process.<\/span><\/span><span class=\"jCAhz ChMk0b\"><span class=\"ryNqvb\"> In this process, it is particularly important to ensure that the welding is continuous, even and spatter-free.<\/span><\/span> <span class=\"jCAhz ChMk0b\"><span class=\"ryNqvb\">Every error continues in the next layer.<\/span><\/span> <span class=\"jCAhz ChMk0b\"><span class=\"ryNqvb\">It is also important to keep the welding process as low-energy as possible so that the layers that have already been welded do not melt again.<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<\/div><\/section><\/div>\n<style
